Terms

What you get, what you owe, and what we will not promise.

If a term here contradicts something we told you in writing, what we told you wins.

Effective 8 September 2026. Chris Brock LLC dba Cite Unseen, a Georgia limited liability company. Questions: hello@citeunseen.io.

What an audit is

An audit inspects the public pages of one website against a published rubric and delivers a report showing the evidence for every finding. The report prints the rubric version and tool version that produced it.

It measures conditions at one moment against a standard we wrote. It is not a certification, an endorsement, or an opinion from any search engine or AI vendor.

What we do not promise

Nothing on this site claims the following. If you find copy of ours that does, tell us and we will take it down.

  • We do not guarantee that your site will be cited, quoted, recommended, ranked, or mentioned by ChatGPT, Google, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, or any other product.
  • We do not guarantee traffic, leads, conversions, revenue, or any commercial outcome.
  • We do not guarantee a score will improve after remediation, or that an improved score changes how any engine behaves.
  • We do not speak for any AI or search vendor, have no relationship with any of them, and have no access to how they rank or select sources.
  • An inconclusive result means the tool could not establish the answer. It is excluded from the score, not counted against you, and is not a finding against your site.

You must be entitled to have the site audited

When you buy, you attest that you own the site or are authorized by someone who does. We record that attestation with your purchase, and nothing is fetched from the site until it is made.

If we have reason to think an attestation is untrue, we will not run the audit, and you get a full refund.

What our crawler does to your site

It requests public pages and identifies itself in its user-agent on every request, with a contact path in the string. It respects applicable robots directives. It works within limits on pages, crawl depth, response size, redirects, retries, concurrency and total run time, and pauses between requests to one host.

It never signs in, submits a form, makes a request that changes anything, or accesses anything behind authentication. It refuses destinations that are not public web addresses (loopback, private and link-local ranges, cloud metadata endpoints, and redirects into any of them).

Refunds

Before the report is sent: a full refund on request, no reason needed.

After the report is sent: a full refund if a finding is wrong. Show us the finding and we re-run the disputed check against the site as it was at audit time, using the stored result. If you are right, the audit is refunded in full and the check is corrected.

Monitoring can be cancelled any time from the link in any Stripe receipt. The current month is not prorated, and the next one is not charged.

The Verified Audit includes three rechecks. Unused rechecks are not refunded, and a refund for a wrong finding is always in full, with nothing subtracted for rechecks already used.

These do not count as a wrong finding: disagreeing with how a check is weighted (the rubric states the weights and the report shows the arithmetic), an inconclusive result, and the audit not producing a citation, a ranking, or traffic. If a finding stands and your site has changed since, we will re-audit at no charge.

Delivery and retention

A person reviews each audit after the machine run finishes, so delivery is not instant. The report arrives as a link that works for ninety days from delivery. Every report carries a retention date, after which the audit and its evidence are deleted. Ask and they are deleted sooner.

You may keep, print, and share your own report freely.

Who owns what

Your site's content stays yours. We hold the captured responses only as evidence for your audit's findings.

Your report is yours. The rubric, the checks, the tool, and the wording of this site are ours, and a purchase does not license reproducing our rubric or check definitions as your own product.

Liability

The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from an audit is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for lost profits, lost traffic, or decisions you make on the basis of a report.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
